Is it possible to have a custom icon for the .exe file in on a CD ROM?

If so, does anyone know how to do this?

You create an ICO file with an icon program of your choice, there are a lot of free ones floating around, and then use Resource Hacker (freeware) or EXEScope (shareware) to swap out that Icon with the current one....

In the tutorial section of Flashkit under projectors there is the tutorial for modifying Projectors withe EXEScope... Resource Hacker will also work for that tutorial.

Goldshell makes a product that just does this if you have a problem with EXEScope or Resource Hacker...

Also almost every Projector tool allows you to swap Icons...

You need a graphic editor that save as ICO there are many free ones on the market. Goldshell makes a free one called Gold Icon and Pixia, a freeware graphic editor also saves as ICO.
