Hi,
I was hoping that some of you could help me.
I am doing some research for a school project on Web Design and what I need to know is roughly how much would it cost for
A static html website with 45 pages
With a simple flash intro,
basic Flash animation spread throughout the site,
Some basic cgi scripting,
And domain registration etc.
So in total about how much would that cost.
Thanks a lot

Domain registration: Anywhere from $8.95 to $35.00 a year
Hosting: Anywhere from $9.95 a month to $25.00 a month.
The design of the site: Depends on who is doing it. If it were me, I would charge about $1500 to $2000. Possibly more if the pages were not all the same theme.

I have now changed my bid to 1 million dollars!!!
Seriously though. When I first read your post, I thought it said 15 pages; not 45. I would charge more like 5 to 8 grand as well.

Jeeesus, and to think the first site I made for my portfolio, I did it free, and it involved 20 pages, flash scripting and animation throughout, PERL CGI updating from a central control center and maintenance.....
I was ripped off!

I did about five sites for free when I first started off. I was telling him what I would charge now.
I'm sure your time is worth much more now than it was then.
