Flsah vs. Lightwave 3D vs. After Effects

Sorry to cut in, but you guys have some good points. I saw the launching of the binus and 01 site, and actually thought it was worth a little more than 20k.
I just want to know if Flash designers will ever regain the respect they had in the last 2 years or would it be a better idea to focus more on 3D modeling and animation since the computer game industry seems to be much more stable and pays much better. Are the video game designers and After Effects guys feeling as much of a strain as we are, or should I say, as much of a strain as I am?

If 3d and game design is where your interests are, go for it. Certain, excellent designers in whatever program will always gain respect. Flash has gotten some bad press due to the proliferation of mediocre Flash users promoting themselves as Flash designers. This was during the IT boom, now a days people are asking questions and judging performance and ability. Quality counts.
