The newest version has a terrible bug that doesnt allow instances to function.

I wish to know if I can re-install an older version without messing up my key until they put out a fix.

    bradt

Instances are copies of sprites that if/when you change something within one of the sprites it automatically changes that exact same thing in every respective "instance" of that sprite. I would suspect that most here dont utilize them as of yet.

Are you using Windows Me? If yes, see if there's a restore point prior to installing 08.28.

PS. I don't have Me. I'm just taking a guess.

I do have Adaptec's GO BACK and it makes life a whole lot better.

    Thanks for the info ~Jer~
I use instances sometimes and the previous build seems to be working fine for me. I think I'll hold off a few days before Updating Swish.

It is unlikely that files you save with the latest build will be backward compatible. I don't know for sure yet .. have to check.

The name of the update program will make no difference though .. the installed program should still be called Swish2.exe

We should have an update soon that addresses this bug (we've fixed it)
