PC files wont open on Mac

I have never been able to open PC built fla files on a Mac. Flash won't even recognize them. PC users seem to be able to use my fla files. Is there a way to fix this problem?

have you tried the "list all files" option on the open dialog box? it's in the pulldown menu at the bottom of the open file window. that's the only way i can usually open pc files. i open then immediately save as a new version. also, are you using flash 5? if you are using flash 4, it might not recognize them anyway.

also, be careful with font managment when opening cross-platform files. i've had mixed results, even with the exact same font family.

thats what i was going to suggest. it will work as long as the versions ar the same.
