I need to figure out how to create a diving man in flash who runs along a diving board and dives into water.....this movie will be viewed from the side so the diver needs to be a side on view .... apart from a proper animation does anyone have a quicker way to create this without drawing the diver a million times over ????

any help would be appreciated deaply

    Cool

If I were you I would make a movie of the person running just one full stride. It will look like they are running when you put the movie on its own tween. This will at least remove some of the repeditive work. Regards, Bill

    Cool

Just build the man / woman in parts:
head, Torso, upper arm, forarm, hands, Thigh, calf, feet. Then just put each item on a seperate layer, Now just animate it. to make it even easier make the animation in a movie clip so you can use it on the main stage over and over. Regards, Bill

Don't know if I'm too late to help you here, but I would find a site dedicated to Eadweard Muybridge (bloke who did stop-motion photography of people moving) and nick a gif or two, and use them as a tracing element.

    Try here: http://web.inter.nl.net/users/anima/...idge/index.htm
