I want to make a Screensaver in the Flash 4-Movie, so that when you don´t move the cursor for about 20 Seconds(Example!) a Screensaver-Like-Movie begin to play. Is there anyone, who knows, how to realise this???

I´ve tried it with setVariable on the beginning of a empty movieclip inside, and on the end of the 20 sec.-Movie it ask about the Mouseposition/Variable from the beginning!?

I think, that´s one way to realise, but I don´t know exactly how to arrange and programm!!!

    Please help....Thanxxx.

You need 3 frames and one mc in separate layer (covers 3 frames). Give this mc instance name "mouse".

    Actions for frame1
    Code:
    Start Drag ("mouse", lockcenter)
    Set Variable: "time" = GetTimer
Set Variable: "mousex" = GetProperty ( "mouse", _x)
Set Variable: "mousey" = GetProperty ( "mouse", _y)
    Actions for frame2
    Code:
    Set Variable: "time_current" = GetTimer
    If ((time_current-time)/1000>10)
          Begin Tell Target ("_level0")
                Go to and Play ("screensaver")
          End Tell Target
    End If
    Set Variable: "mousex_current" = GetProperty ( "mouse", _x)
    Set Variable: "mousey_current" = GetProperty ( "mouse", _y)
    If (mousex<>mousex_current or mousey<>mousey_current)
          Go to and Play (1)
    End If
    Actions for frame3
    Code:
    Go to and Play (2)
Frame1 we make draggable movie to get mouse coordinates and start timer.
Frame2 we check if time is up (10 sec here), then we goto frame, where screensaver starts. We then check if mouse has moved, if yes, we start over from frame1.
    Frame3 we make a loop.

I am sorry, I don't understand your problem
Which getTimer you want to lose?
You need it basically to measure time.
And what has the number of keyframes to do with it?

Maybe you could explain it a little.

I suppose, you can put screensaver part somewhere else in your movie, just don't forget to begin it with frame labeled "sceensaver".

To actually make your movie a screensaver, you need some tool:

    http://www.macromedia.com/support/fl...reensavers.htm

I haven't tried them, so if you manage to make your screensaver, I would love to hear a comment
