I am making a movie, using 24 frames per second to make a 2 second pause i have to leave 48 frames blank...is there another way to create a pause like using the timer events in actionscript or something?

    Thankyou.

On macromedia's web site in the resources section there is an extension that allows you to pause the movie on any frame for a specified amount of time. I have used it before, and it is pretty simple to use.It uses a smartclip, it is called "waitAtFrame" it was developed by Moock. below is the link, i don't think it will work unless you have a macromedia exchange id. If you do end up getting an id, login and search for "pause", waitAtFrame should come up along with 2 others. Let me know if this works for you.

If you don't feel like doing all of this or don't have time, let me know and i can email you the extension and the extension manager needed to install it.
