    If I were to create a new flash movie and set it to have a default frame rate of 21 (or something) is there a way that I can set a movie clip to have a different frame rate?????

    Everything in your movie (including Movie Clips) are supposed to run at the same frame rate. Your MC might be going a bit slower if you have a lot of things going on at the same time in it...

    No I just want the movie clip to run faster than the rest of my movie. Is there absolutely no way of doing this?
