Rotation of shape Vs Rotation of Gradient fill it has---needs urgent help

Hi friends

Can we rotate a linear gradient fill with out rotating a shape which contains that gradient fill?
If yes can you please tell me how to fill gradient matrix?

one more doubt

when i rotate a shape which contains gradient fill, the rotation is applicable to the gradient fill also. What should i do to stop rotating a gradient fill when i rotate a shape and not the gradient fill it ocntains?

when the button is on paint, there is a little button below that says rotate, fill, click thius and you will be able to rotate the fill alone
