I'm an intermediate ASPer
and an intermediate FLASHer

only just starting to use actionscripting but it seems to make sense enough....
I'm feeling it's time to bridge the gap...

FLASH + ASP!!!!!!!

I haven't found any tutorials on using these together. If anyone knows of some, or has some words of assistance I would be most greatful :-)

An optimum example, would be a flash site pulling information out of a database- say a bookmarks page or something..

The single greatest resource for learning ASP and Flash can be found at http://www.asptoday.com/articles/19991001.htm

Using the above resource, I've been able to create a database that Flash can read from, search, write to, etc...

It takes a little experimentation and a lot of caffeine, but it can be done. The results are amazing.

Try not to laugh out loud; the purpose was to see if the variable exchange was working, not to do anything terribly artistic.

The author of the aforementioned tutorial (Dan Smith) has been a big help in my endeavors and will reply if asked for assistance.
