I m using flash5 and i have no idea if i can whether or not transform a cercle into a square? it might be a stupid question but i m reading the book and i didn t find anything about transformation...

yes you can only apply it to shapes that arent grouped or a movielcip, you make the shape you want to start off with in the initial keyframe, make a new keyframe somewhere down the line and draw the shape you want it to change to, then click on the first frame again and then go to 'shape tween' on the drop down menu on the 'frame' pannel, that sould be all

Its actually called "Shape Tweening" in flash.. in case that helps..
Ill run you through the process;
Firstly.. draw your square in the first keyframe..
then, rightclick a frame later on in the timeline, the further along you place it, the longer the animation will take, and select 'Insert Blank Keyframe'.
In this new blank keyframe, draw your circle.
Click the first frame of the animation, and goto the Modify pull down menu, then select 'Frame'
In the pull down menu of the frame window, select shape.
Apply any easing you want, if you dont know what easing is, post again in this tread and ill be happy to explain.
Your tween is now complete, press enter to run the animation.
