Does anyone know how to do this????
Here's my situation:
In my Flash Movie, I want to have buttons so the user can pause and then play the animation. Instead of having a pause button and a play button, I want to have only one button with two graphics (1 for pause and 1 for play). It starts off as a pause Graphic and then when the user clicks on it to pause the movie it turns to the play graphic and vice versa. Thanks in advance

Just place the button in a movie clip. In the first frame put the original state of the button you want put a stop aciton in the first frame of the movie clip. Now in frame two put a blank keyframe and place the button so it lines up with the first. Now in the first button actions area put a command to goto the second frame of the movie clip that you just created along with the other commands you want executed. Then do the same thing in the second frame but send them to the first frame of the movie. Regards, Bill

That's what I was thinking...but is it possible to put the buttons in a movie and then place that "button movie" in my main flash movie and have those buttons control the main movie? Would I have to use a tell target? Would the button code go in the Button movie or in the main movie when I place the "Button Movie" on it. wshhh That was a mouth full....Hope it makes sense
