I have searched everywhere for a tutorial on how to take a Flash created graphic and spin it. Now, i don't mean rotate it CW or CCW, I want to spin it on the X axis. I have visited sites where they have a logo spinning, you can change the color, spin speed, size, position, etc with slider bars. I don't care about all the customizations, I just want to spin the damn logo, lolol. ANY help would be greately appreciated.

    Here's one:

The easiest way to do it would be with a program called Swift 3D. You can check it out here:

    Hope this helps.

    Lightbulb try Vecta 3d

You might also want to check out http://www.vecta3d.com/ which is slightly cheaper and might be just what you are looking for.

    Thanks guys

I will check out the tutorial. As for Swift 3D, I have it, but i cannot figure out how to import the graphic into it and then edit it to make an animation out of it.

If your graphic is pixel-based, trace it in Flash or some other program that offers 'tracing' feature and export it to EPS or AI.

In Vecta3d you can import both of those formats, I'm sure Swift 3d offers that and even more.

Swift 3D will definitely do that and the wireframe as well.

    Vecta

This one is done with Vecta 3D (.eps/.ai import), I'm sure if you fiddle with it a bit more you'll get a better result..this took 1 minute, that easy.

When importing an illustrator file into Swift 3D, make sure it's saved as an Illustrator 8 EPS, the old version of Swift 3D does not handle Illustrator 9 files.

But the new version comes out soon and it will.

that could be your probem when trying to import into Swift 3D
