SOUND QUESTION!!

I just purchased a mac G4 and I am unfamiliar with OS9. I was using a program called simple
text which allows you to type text and then have the computer say what you typed in a
variety of voices. I thought that these voices were pretty cool and I wanted to
incorporate them into my flash movie. Unfortunately I have no idea how to record these
sounds into wav files or whatever. If knows how to record the sounds in simple text and
then save them for use in Flash I would greatly appreciate!!!!

Those files are basically embedded into the operating system, and cannot be extracted. If you notice they speak what you type or what is stated in your alert windows, so they are dynamic. My only suggestion is type what you want the voice to say and record it externally or just speak into the microphone and distort that file with a sound editing software like sound edit 16.
