its not as bad as some may think..though alot of people are preparing for a biological outbreak here..anthrax really isn't much as long as u get treated soon. the bad part is we were gonna go buy gas masks (my girlfriend felt we should have them) but as we watvhed the news buying them won't help because commercial masks don't work like the militaries ..so its kinda on your own...we definatly pay more attention to snail mail we don't know

my father's in the national guard and he said do not bother buying gas masks... its much better to get a washcloth, moisten it, and put it in a ziplock bag. carry it with you, in event of anything suspicious, put it over your face and get the hell outta there.
Inhaled anthrax is fatal in 90% of the cases. The problem is that the disease mimicks the flu, then you recover, and then you get worse and then die. Now that we are in flu season, many people will be getting the fluand thinking anthrax and some people who may have anthrax might think it's the flu.

Btw, I live in Miami which is a hop skip and a jump from Boca Raton (3 cases of various types of anthrax reported there)
