new question to add
how do ya make an auto-run cd?
-
I was hoping that this thread would be a useful resource for those newer to the boards than myself or some of you other posters but I didn't really intend for eveyone to post new questions in it as I feel some of the valuable information will probably get lost along the way if the thread gets much bigger.
I know the last questions have been covered a number of times both in this forum and others so If you could please use the advanced search function to find the relevant threads that will answer your questions I'd be grateful.
Also, feel free to add useful links to threads you've found for some of the common posts in here but please try not to add further questions for the above reasons
Regards.

I have no clue why, but (even though i'm on a decent cable cnx) flashkit is painfully slow for me. The search on here is awful for me, I think there's just too many things to search through. Still, I try to use the search method as much as possible, and I promise, if I ever want a transparent background in a flash movie, I'll use the search.
I guess you're right, the thread is starting to get a lil large. I'll stop asking questions here.
Take care,
darque9

Please don't be dissing people in this thread, it couldn't be further from the aim of it, which was to help out the newbies to flash or scripting/forums etc
I know a lot of members put their machine specs in their footers, it sometimes helps out those doing site checks etc to guage how fast or well a site runs on those sorts of machines.
Regards,

Does he need all this though? :
17" flat crt :: altec lansing 885's :: turtle beach 5.1 sound :: dvd :: cdrw :: logitech optical mouseman
SERIOUSLY, I wouldn't put every last detail of my PC into a board.
MONITOR SIZE? SPEAKERS? DVD? MOUSE?
WHY...?
DOING A SITE CHECK DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH SPEAKERS OR MONITOR SIZE.
HE WAS BRAGGING.
NO NEED TO BRAG FOR THE NOOBS, NBK.
