Thread: verdana font question

  1. #1

    resolved

why is it that my verdana font looks different in flash than it does in dreamweaver. I am attempting to write with the same font that is being used to display these letters. If someone has an answer or a link to this simple, yet effective font...please respond...

Certainly part of the difference will be that the text is anti-aliased in Flash and is not in an HTML page. Is that the difference you are referring to?

    Peace,

yes...I can view the font as I need it in 'fast' mode, but how can I maintain this when I export my .swf...take a look @ http://cashmoney-records.com and you'll see what I am looking for.

Post Verdana font like in Dreamweaver

This is for Flash 5.0, I can't remember if Flash 4.0 had this option.
When you type your text...you go to text properties (CTRL+T)
go to text options and mark Use Device Fonts..this will make Verdana font look like in the Dreamweaver...

    Hope this helped.
