I'm trying to convert my company logo into 3D. The file is originally a JPG file. I saved in Flash as *.eps and tried to import the file in Swift. However, the file simply doesn't come up. Do you think its because the file is too big? Its 614KB. Is there any other way I can do this?

Post the logo up on the net or just email it to me (boyce@blazenet.net), and I'll take a look at it. Make sure you include the original JPG and the EPS.

You can't import JPGs or bitmaps into Swift3D as EPS files. If you are starting with a raster image, you first need to either trace over it with vector drawing tools or use the "Trace Bitmap" function found under the Modify menu in Flash.

If the picture was not traced he would have gotten the following error:

    "Error Importing File:
An error has occurred attempting to import the specified file. This error is most commonly caused by attempting to import a file that does not contain outline or filled shapes."

Again if you would like send the files over and I could take a look.
