I would like to use a similar background, but in grey, for my Flash movie like the one they use in:

    http://www.dsg4.com/04/extra/index.html

I can see it's made with a color in the background and then very little squares all over it.

Do I have to make it?. How?.
Is there a place where I can get these kind of backgrounds?.

    Thanks.

new pic (3px*3px) use the pen tool and make one grey pixel in the middle of the picture. select all->define pattern. then fill pattern on a bigger picture.

most common method for making tv scanlines:

create a new image, 2 pixels in height, and the width of what the image you will be using it in. make it transparent.

using the selection tool, select a 1 pixel tall area that is as wide as the whole area. aka, half the area you have in height.

fill this with desired color, black is the most common, but you can do any color and get some interesting results.

Go to Edit>Define Pattern> and give it a name.

Go to the image you want to use it it, create a new layer, then go to Edit>Fill>Fill with Pattern, you'll see your single line there, fill with this.

Adjust the layer opacity and settings for desired effect.

    very easy.
