Im using a font called Sydnie. When i publish the movie parts of some of the letters , (eg the hole in the A) appear filled in. They only look like this when published. Anyone got any ideas?

Im using Sydnie to try and replicate the font used in the MS-Dos window. Does anyone the actual name of the font used in Dos?

    Thanks

fonts that aren't flash specific have that problem. it has to do with the way the fonts was created. to solve this problem you have to break it apart.

    hope this helps.

BREAKING APART SYDNIE DOES NOT HELP

I have ran into this problem too, but breaking apart the font in flash does not help. It becomes ugly the second you do the break apart action. I am still searching for a solution to have SYDNIE display correctly once the *.fla is closed.

The easiest solution I can think of.

Create an image file with your text.

then import the image as a gif into flash.
