When will GIF import be fixed?

I have a real world need for bringing in animated gifs. This feature still doesn't work right. I get very strange transparency results. Even if I don't want any transparency.

Still waiting for the move event to match on export as well any progress here?

Hi,

A work around....

Whenever I am having problems with animated gifs
I just load them into a gif animator program and save the individual frames and then load those.
