    Submitting Variables to ASP

    I am trying to submit variables to an ASP login validation page, but Flash does not seem to want to send the variables. The ASP page is now configured to Response.Write any variables it receives if the login fails. Every time I submit with Flash, the login fails, and nothing is submitted.

    Here is my ActionScript:

    code:

    txtusername = user.text;
    txtpassword = pass.text;
    getURL("loginval.asp", "_blank", "POST");

    What can I do? This is very urgent, so I appreciate any and all help! Thanks!!

    Try...

    txtusername = user.text;
    txtpassword = pass.text;
    this.loadVariables("loginval.asp", "_blank", "POST");

    ..if you are shure the paths to the variables are correct. have you tries outside Flash if the script works?

    No, that doesn't work. The _blank window doesn't pop up, nor does anything open in the _self window - it doesn't show the login validation page or the page that if the login and password were correct it would Response.Redirect to. I am positive that the login works normally with ASP.

    What else can I do? I've tried everything I've found on the board, with no avail!

    Do a trace on ......

    txtusername

    ......to see that the variables path are correct

    Try it in the browser, typing in the variables and the url

    http://www.blabla.com/loginval.asp?t...me&txtpassword =correctPW

    --------
    My previous code should not have the _blank........

    this.loadVariables("loginval.asp", "POST");
