    the Script
    on(release){
    DoSomething(_parent);
    }

    calls a function 'DoSomething' and sends it the path of the Parent-Clip as argument

    i think that doesn't help you much, so send me the fls and i will tell you more ...

    Thank you very much for ur reply
    but as u told me this was not very useful for me, here is the address of the menu, so please download it,
    u will find the action above on the single button,
    & u will find another actions on the frame
    I think u will understand the script once u see the fla

    remmeber that I couldn't make the buttons in this menu to be active or to link to any urls or files.

    Thanks a lot.

    Well I see that u are busy to download the fla, ok, I will make it easy for u,
    You said that:
    the Script
    on(release){
    DoSomething(_parent);
    }

    calls a function 'DoSomething' and sends it the path of the Parent-Clip as argument

    Nice....

    Here is the Function please tell me what is the meaning of it:

    MovieClip.prototype.DoSomething = function (theClip) { trace ("nome: "+theClip._name);trace ("valore: "+theClip.mov.txt);};

    ok, lets see:

    MovieClip.prototype.DoSomething = function (theClip) { // definition of the function

    trace ("nome: "+theClip._name); //shows the name of the Clip in the message window when testing the clip

    trace ("valore: "+theClip.mov.txt);}; //shows some kind of text, i guess in the message window.

    sorry, but i think this is not the function you are searching for.

    sorry, but i really did not had the time, since noone helped me with my prob in the board and i did not find a solution yet
