I am importing .jpegs that were created in Photoshop with a transparent background. However, when I get them in Flash, they have a white background. Is there any way to correct this so that the background is transparent? Much obliged.

I think, using the trace bitmap option, and then selesting and deleting the white part in flash should solve the problem.

Try creating transperant ping instead of jpg. I have never tried it but I read about it somewhere.

Thanks for the help. FYI-Using trace bitmap option didn't allow me to completely remove the white background-small portions remained around the image. However, importing from photoshop as a .png worked perfectly to give me a transparent background. Thanks again.
