    Greetings,
Hopefully some of the knowledgeable Macromedia moderators can answers this.
I have now three versions of flash on my computer, Flash 3 the full retail version, Flash 4 the upgrade version, and Flash 5 the upgrade version. Knowing that the upgrade needs the original version to operate can I safely remove either flash 3 or 4 and still have flash 5 function correctly or will it not work properly.

I really need to clear up space on my hard drive but do not wish to delete any of the original versions of flash if I know in advance that the new upgrade version of flash 5 will not function correctly without the originals still installed.
I know I could experiment with this and delete them one by one but if it doesn't work I would have to reinstall everything.

Thanks to anyone who can answer this.

    Mike

Yes, once an upgrade is installed then you can remove older versions.

(You might want to pick up additional hard drive space, though... this can help in various ways.)
