    Hello Flashers here is the game Jdnas was talking about.

    The source code and the script will be released in form of a tutorial writen by Jdnas. The favor which I would like to ask you is to test it out and post here sugestions and bugs so I can fix those. Do you think that it runs fast enough ? And to tell you the trought I already lost 2 games. he he he cant beat my own creature.

    Hi Jeff sorry about that it will be fixed. Listen the fla is about 2MB hotmail gave me hard time uploading it let me zip it tomorrow and I will send it to you for correcitons. Heavy scripting a ? but runs fast. I think.

    Heavy sounds effects (or maybe I left the volume button of my system to high yesterday). Like to see how you did the explosion effect, looks very good!

    Hi raoul, Ill cut the sound down. The explosion I found on the net as tutorial for Studio Max. Itss a gif seq. but I had to cut most of the frames. I used BeginTell target which is not a good idea in this case I think. Works kinda slow.

    It runs preaty smoot on mine comp. Listen what comp do you use. Mine is 300Mhz with 128M RAM. I tested it whith another 300mHz with 64M RAM and was slow. I had to swich off all TSR programs. It seems that if you swich off Norton pack. and McAfee it goes fine. Can you try it one more time and tell if this helps. If yes Ill put this info in the main screen. TNX man

    hi Mad-sci,
    you are right, my comp is 350mHz with 64M RAM, and after i closed norton evrything was faster .
    i have another suggestion, at the end of the game insert a "new game" button.

    Shamway hi, tnx man. Ha ha isnt that amasing how we forget the simplest things when we do a complicated projects. Ill put that button right away now we work to decrease the file size 400kb is way to much.

    Cool.... Alien Invaders sounds really good.

    I'd go with Alien Invaders.
    It fits the game better.

    Hi again, for unknown mistical reasons the above link does not work. If this happens uses this one: http://members.xoom.com/savco/games/aliens/alien.htm
    The name will be changed to ALIEN INVADERS.
    I menage to cut down the file size to about 300kb. but this is all I can do. any sugestions.

    Well, looks great, ur game, BUT (hehehehe)
    could it be possible, that shooting is only possible when being with ur mousepointer over ur ship?

    well, sometimes i slipped off the ship and couldn´t shoot

    why is the game so slow? are you using lots of arrays if you are then its the wrong way to create this game!! still great work guy's!!

    Hi all as I sad before depends what comp. you use and how many TSR are running in the background. The game is running a collision detection wich is done in a way that as the game go it will speed up because of less collisions. This is done by implementing the elimination by distance and availability ( shoot one down = dont check it anymore, dont check if its to far away )

    Everyware between 1-5 collisions at a time depends how fast you are shooting. Tnx man for cheking it out. Im waiting for jydnas to write the complete tut. for it. we have another one which is as good as this one but it will but to jydnas.
