Thread: Swift3d lockups

    is anyone having problams exporting to .swf?
    every time i have a 3d movie i make thats is over 1
    frame it locks up!!!!
    if i just export to swf and its only 1 frame it works fine...
    anyone know how to fix this?

    It sounds like you either have one of two situations. How old is your system? how much ram, cpu speed etc. and second depending on the interscting of the lines and the complexity of the model it may bogg down. How big is the model? those guestions need to be answerd before we can help. It sounds to me like you have some intersecting lines that gets ravix confused a bit when its rendering. Right now there is now cure. try duming down the model and give it a try. Also try some primitive shapes on there own created in swift to make sure that this is the problem. Regards, Bill

    funny how software works lol
    but to answer the question of my puter
    i shouldent have a problam
    i have a 1000 Mhz amd-k-7
    and 256 megs of ram...
    running on win2k server
    so i have the speed i
    figured out that my model
    was way to complex for swish to
    export to swf?
    so i had to remove alot of stuff...
    but thanx for the help i have many more questions!
    im just getting my hands into flash and i odnt think its that hard
    i just have to learn how to coden in it...
    that the hard part for me
    i forgot to ask i have a tut. on how to make a draggble
    mask but the code is a pain in the ***
    is there an easy way to get arround that?
