or can you tell me aboot a site that contains sounds by categories

Go to the links section and check out some of the sites in the list.

You can find all sorts of sfx, like thunder,screams,howling and more.

Try www.soundamerica.com

but the .wav files have the Mp3 filter
so you will need to save them as .mp3
and convert them to .wav using something like Winamp.

I downloaded about 30 .wav files from soundamerica and flash would not let me Import them.

I thought what is the deal?
So i checked the properities of the .wav files and found the mp3 filter.
