Sound on/off

I've seen such tutorial files to help create a sound on/off button but for background music only. What if I have, background music, additional sounds you can mix in and some event sounds.. Can I mute them all at once and simply restart them ??

I still haven't found a simple way.. the only way I found is to put a variable check on each sounds which are now all in movieclips..
