Making FONTS

I have som idea for font making so i will tell you and you can tell me if it is possible. When u lets say emmbed one font with all its charachters it has about 29 kb in SWF so i was thinking, can i use some font making program and delete lots of not nedede charachters like @{€ÿ²´´ and in that way make a file smaller, will it be smaller? can this be done??

just embedd the carracters you need. write the charrcters you want to be embeded into the input text field under "Embeded fonts:"

ok i know that, but the thing is that i USE
NEW FONT in library so i can share it whit multiple swf to make file size smaller so that is why i aksed this
