Thread: Apple Script Question

    I'm not a Mac user, but I'm considering switching to OSX and I am curious about Apple Script.

    Will an Apple script create a text file and save text to it? Could I call such a script from a Flash file so that data from Flash variables could be saved?

    yes, applescript can do that, but its how t get the variables across that is the problem...

    Walt Sterdan's idea might just work because its so crazy...but it would be nice to try and make it a bit less user invovled.
    I'm still trying to find out if it's possible to pass variables to applescript with a url, but without a http/cgi server...if this worked it would be easy to do what you want.
    Basically, this is a big problem, which there is no real answer too at the moment...
