My Flash movie plays noticeably slower in my browser than it does in 'Test Movie' or in the Flash player. Anybody know why?
    Thanks,
    dixter

It's local and it plays slow in both Netscape or Explorer.
Should I allocate more ram to the browsers? By the way, I'm on a Mac.

To estudioworks, No it is 750px by 400px placed in a table (Dreamweaver) that centers it in the browser window.

Perhaps there is a problem with the Flash player on a Mac but, the fact remains that, the movie still plays slower in by browser(s) than it does in my (Mac) Flash player.

Thanks for the tips and the links. Maybe there is some issue of Flash, IE and Netscape on a Mac. I sometimes feel Macromedia has designed Flash(and the rest of their products) for the PC then, as an after-thought, threw in some code to make it 'function' on a Mac.

    you're probably right...

but in the same vein... keep in mind that macintosh has traditionally been harder to program for because they don't allow for much tweaking, etc of the system itself
