I believe he, http://www.yugop.com , was one of the first to implement this kind of menu.

    Actually...

    hey,

acctually, I might sound lazy and stuff, but I'm just wondering... I looked at the link that Kraken tell me about, and I found it kinda hard to understand, but I sort of got the idea about the button tiling and stuff... However, I don't know how to make the movieclip plays smoothly while I roll over one invisible button to another ('cos right now it jumps from one frame and another). So can anybody tell me how to make it go smoother? Kraken? anybody? Thank you~

    you know...

I've never actually done that tutorial...

I've seen it done all over, but never got around to it. Possibly ask this question over in the actionscript board for more info on getting that thing to work.

yugop wasn't the first, but he was the first to use it for nav.

i'd seen it for pictures and a calendar before that.

but i wouldn't use it. it's really confusing to normal web surfers.

So...What would be the less confusing way?

yeh, so Mad Clown? What's the less confusing way to do it? 'cos I've tried just tiling the screen with invisible buttons so something will happen when you roll over, but... well, it doesn't work that nicely... maybe the way that I tell targeted stuff... so any suggestions? that'll be cool if you can give me a few tips! Thanks in advance....
