Ok i have made an animation with only spheres and when I generate the movie the spheres look terrible, and don't look 3d? Why is this? I tried to mess with the cartoon colors and stuff but nothing worked!!!

Start by increasing the segmentation of each sphere in the main work area from the panel on the left.
When in the preview editor - slide the 'curve fitting' bar over more to the right and render in a better fill then cartoon color - try full cartoon color, gradient or mesh fill.

Yup, it should have read "..'area' gradient or ...."
amazing how missing one word in a sentence can project a certain sense of retardation on the posters behalf!
