if anyone has access to both a mac and windows machine, could you view:
    http://www.rminebridal.com
and help me understand why on windows, it loads very quickly, but on mac it's choppy.
both are on the same server connection, and it was done in swish/flash/on dreamweaver. it's only one dreamweaver page, and one flash movie that had a small swish exported into it. this is driving me crazy.
    thanks in advance.

    hey gasbag

yes, both the mac and pc are connected to the same server, via network. i have tried other macs and pc's and the same result. mac slow. windows fast. now, i will profess to be a very bitter ex-mac user. (i saw the light and it wasn't coming from a ipod)
    anyway...
i'm thinking i may try to load the site via a mac and see if that makes any difference, because a friend who uses dreamweaver and flash says the oposite happens to her. still any additional advice will be helpful.
