    greetings

I have a web site page that includes a fairly large amount of text. Over top of this I have a simple white box that flashes and fades. once.

The problem I'm running into is that as the box fades, the frame rate drags down. I think that there is just too much text to draw at the frame rate I have chosen. Is there an easy ay to get around this?

    I apprecialte any help.

    thanks

the problem isnt flash its your processor, a 3k flash movie (with clever actionscript) can create so much movement that your processor hasnt the time to think about it.

I use 850mzh and sometimes it slows up with flash movies that contain too much animation.

that's what I figured. As it turns out, once I published the movie and tweaked my symbols a little, it plays ok......

Cool, but remember that there are lots of people out there with slow machines!!
The best thing to do is have a look at it on a few computers.
