    can you have animated gifs in flash files?

    if you mean Export to GIF ... of course you can... use the File /Export movie for that ... if u mean Import ...
    u can as well ... what will happen the animation will be broken into mutiple keyframes ... so best to do it insidee an MovieClip

    you can import them too, and they will come in in seperate frames. Works best with web colors.

    Also, make sure you import it into a Movie Clip
