yup, button, track as button. Am I just clicking on the wrong thing before I bring up actions? My buttion is sitting on Layer one, Frame one, and I'm placing my actions on Layer 2, Frame one. Same scene and all that (beleive me I checked everything). Just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Your actions for a button go actually on a button. Try this:

    1. Make sure you've made your ACTIONS window activate by going to WINDOWS/ACTIONS
    2. Select your button you want to add the actions on.
    3. Your ACTIONS window should say OBJECT ACTIONS where you should be able to have your OnMouseEvents there.

    Hope this helps!
