Nope, still think Flash will be an asset inside of Director or some form of it. Perhaps in the future there will be more integration of some of the whiz bang Director only capablities but my guess is if you want to make money, you keep em seperated
There will never(or atleast in the near future) be support for real 3d in flash. It would bump up the filesize of the flash player too much and that would defeat the whole marketing model for macromedia flash.
What I REALY wish is that Director would look more like Flash. Especially the Lingo language. They still can make it a different player, but it would be more like an expanded flash player.
Well, it never blames to hope.... sigh

_______________ Darn...I realy need to make a footer...
What about a 3d support add-on to the flash player? Then people playing little games and chats ect.. won't need the big download, but if they are prepared to download big 3d games I'm sure they would be prepared for a one off player add-on. Then more could come, and 3rd party add-ons for player and authoring.. Then flash would be like java! (In a sorta way)

maybe shockwave should become an asset of Flash instead - similar to the way they have integrated video into mx. At the moment this is exactly what I'm trying to do...
