    if i have flash 4 can i upgrade right to mx or do i NEED flash 5?

    I'd say you would need to buy the full-on version of Flash MX.

    It's too much of a jump to upgrade from 4 and not worth it to upgrade to 5 just for the upgrade price on MX.

    Not only is Flash 4 good for an $ 199.00 upgrade to MX, Flash 2 and 3 will do too...

    Now that's something for the whiners around there...

    Hey, leave the whiners alone.

    Without the whiners, you wouldn't have whine, and then you wouldn't have whine-cellars, and also you wouldn't have whine specialists on tv claiming they can taste a "bit of oak and cherry blosom" in some whine.

    Sorry for the busted advice mr. bob. I was surprised that you can upgrade older software. Unless we're just talking about upgrade price and they still give you the full version. Either way, you're good to go.
