design help

Hi, I am just wondering....I've been working with flash and photoshop, illustrator for a little over a year now. I know how to use the tools but I have a really hard time finding the right design. I've been looking all over for tutorials on creating wicked layouts and smooth in style animations but all I can find are "how to make a bevel" or "motion tweening" and stuff like that. But I know how to make a bevel and I know how to moition tween but Where's the best help to make it look awesome!

well,to tell u the truth there r 2 ways,1.if u can creat then ur problem is solved
2 if u cant creat then watch how other creat,and by the time u'll find urself creative
to watch others creations

sorry, but looking at others websites
won't accomplish much. you'll end up
copying, and that ain't what you
want.

there is no way to learn how to be
creative, you only can learn how to
get most out of your creativity and
how to use it when you aren't creative
right at the moment (this happens to
everybody, i guess).

the techniques are important, no question.
but to develop some NEW interfaces, website
designs, ideas i'd advise to play with pen
and paper. look at other things than web
interfaces or on-air design, and you'll
notice than everywhere lurks the possibility
of a good idea or design. you just have to
look at it in the right way.
