Thread: No Audio in Video?????

    I thought I read somewhere that The Pope said there was no audio with the video and you had to sync it up on on the timeline seperately and it was tricky!! anyone else?

    I've seen it.

    there's great audio. works very well.

    the video and audio are married. They reside on a layer, but the two are entertwined. They are not separate.

    Audio is fully supported when you import video. It will be part of the SWF audio stream when you export.

    The only limitation is that you can not preview the sound of a video when you scrub the timeline in Flash MX.

    I just found it under the "Goodbye Generator and Director" thread

    "Just know this that the video in Flash has NO AUDIO so sync can get a bit wacky. Director is still the Big dog for CD development. Now MX in Director!!!!!!!!!!!!! now your talking POWER"

    Me thinks the Pope has some splainin to do!

    which is it

    I have audio to video sync and then no audio to video sync. Who is right. I sure hope it sinks automatically. Someone who knows for sure please give a difinitive answer on this subject. Thanks

    Audio is included when importing video. Both appear on the same layer. You <i>can</i> select to not include audio when importing.
