    neway getting 2 the pt - in simple words can i import a 3d mesh model in flash mx OR have interactive realtime 3d ?

    actually, #2 is yes, but you have to program it all by hand.
    the new drawing api functions are cool.

    hi bit ur movie shows up nothing - guess coz it requires flash player 6 - just add a text to remind ppl that it does coz i was also befuddlred in the beggining when i didnt see anything

    yes, you can draw lines and filled shapes *on the fly*
    you can choose line width, color, transparency, fill color and transparency and blends. also a bezier type curved line.
    you can also create empty movie clips *on the fly* whew!

    that file actually creates and empty movie clip, calculates the perspective for 8 3D points, draws the lines and fills, then deletes the movie clip and starts all over once every frame. i'm sure there's a more efficient way of doing it, but already it's smoother than anythign i've ever seen in flash. tyard and another user posted some variations with solid faces instead of transparent, over at wh.

    we should write a 3d engine of that.
    new drawing tool is cool.
