1. that site was posted here before.
2. I site cannot beat 2A because that site only is one fresh solution, while 2A is is direction in web development (including amoung other things, fresh solutions, too).

Let it rest...
I advise you not to compare anything to 2A they are not a standard in the design community just explain why you lie them so much and let it rest..

I Absolutely agree with you that not anything should be compared with 2A. BUT please notice that that comparison was suggested by the thread starter.

Lie?
The tone of your post is rather aggressive for this boart, I would say...

Once again 2A come on that thread. Tell me guys how much eric jordan is paying you. I will start selling eric jordan shirt - Eric jordan the flashy bill gates.

See with all that discussion(or should I say publicity) about 2Advanced I forgot to write the comments about http://www.widegroup.net.
My comment is - "Not impressive at all"
Sorry to add this my dear but you did waste my time.

I'm not going to follow the discussion here, just give my comments.
Love the music change when you navigate between sections.
Not too sure about having a different style for each section, it works, just doesn't suit me at all.
Your buggered if you are visting this site on a modem, at least load the sections in one by one to allow the user to start browsing.
apart from that like it, you find that the whole experience is like watching an intro, although this does take you out of the mode of reading the content, because you are in "entertain me" mode!!!
anyway enough babble
cheers

NICE POINT
Every cool, bad azz, best, or god of flash site, (or whatever the fuwk it is) is always compared to 2a, and it will end up in a long debate.
Keep in mind that there is/are no God for Flash other than http://www.flashkit.com and you're not wasting your time here.

the funny thing is that one person compares something to 2advanced and/or fantasy interfaces and instead of ignoring the comparison or debating it 12 people reply 'why does everyone compare things to 2a?'

Moonlight shadow
I have to agree with aversion. Why do we compare things to 2 Advanced? Its not that great a web site, the navigation is kinda confusing at times plus everything is too small to read on big screens.
I love the intro of this site, lots of fun. Groovy navigation, nice big solid buttons. Can't go wrong there.
Plus this music is pretty cool.

Reason
The reason I posted widegroup as the god of flash is because of its feild that it is in...
Digital Motion
Now having said that, they do in fact put you in the "entertain me mode" therefore making you hooked and wanting to come back again...
BOOM
They have you.
Anyway, other then that, I liked it, so I hope I did not waste your time.

Seems they have set a benchmark (or however you might say it). They'll be a standard for a while I'd guess.

Well done Nevil! .
Finally someone don't miss the point!.
'you are in "entertain me" mode!!!' .
you're damn right!
also, i think if someone here is comparing this with 2a. it's impossible because they've different targets. they work for different clients and the are focused on different things.
and they have different styles and layouts.
since 2a have more corporate and high tech target audience and clients.
i think that widegroup is here for entertain the audience, and to show what the web can be on that field. high impact, motion, excite your senses!.
ok. that's all.
