Sorry this is probably somewhere in the help files, but I couldn't find it...

how can I change the font size of a dynamic text box with the html tags enabled? I tried <font size=20> but this didn't want to work.

    Thanks

    hey!
it wouldnt work with <font size...
there are only a few html-commands that work...
    (check the manual)

but with a little trick you can work around that problem:

[1] create a movieclip with a dynamic textbox
in frame 1 (set it to the size of the font you want)
name the var for example: myvar
[2] copy that textbox into frame 2 and set it to another
fontsize you want, and so on...
[3] all you gotta do now is place that clip on stage
    name it for example: fontsizes
and then just jump to the frame with the font-size
    you want:

fontsizes.myvar="thetext"; //sends the text of the var
fontsizes.gotoAndStop(x); //where <x> the frame with the size you want

    hope that helped

sorry now i got your problem...

    swampy is right...

    but you must use:

    <font size='20'> inside a text string...

    eg.: mytext="<font size='20'> blabla <font>";

    isnt it?
