Help!! the GETURL function GRRR

Hey, everyone, i gotta problem. IN flash 5, i have a button, and when on the "down" keyframe i am trying to add "get url". When i go to "actions", any of the actions i want to use are not able to be used, not even able to be highlighted. I dont understand why it does this, is there something i need to do first? Flash 4 was better for this function.

Go back and do the built-in tutorial on Buttons.
You'll realize pretty quick what you're doing wrong.

I will cut to the chase: You don't but the action in the button. It is more like on the button. Click on it once to select it, now edit you actions.

just right click on the your button and select 'Actions' from the menu.
then from the first submenu you will get on mouse event option select it and say on release and give your desired url.
