Thread: Large Index Files?

  1. #1
Hi I hope you can help use with this:

When I do a website and publish it (all in flash 4) I notice the index file are from 10kb, 15kb, and 20kb+ some times! This as you can imagine is not good for fast loading as this has to be load first as you know. I found the index size seems to be related to the amount of text i use in the website. (This may not be the case but it's what i've found)

So can't you give me some idea what i'm doing wrong, and how i can get these index files down to a better level.

As I have also noticed in flash text takes time to load and puts up the swf file size by an anount, where as an html page it just come right up with very little wait.

    Thanks If you can help.

All the text you put in the SWF, is also in the html file.
You can just delete it from the html file.
