    Brad,

Set up an I-drive and we can use the drop box to transfer files.

I have a lot of large files and I don't want to kill your E-mail.

    PS.

I did a character animation and simulated boning. The animation isn't great but its there.

I sent about twelve items. I'm not totally sure about the quality of them though. You will just have to go through them and use what you can.

I got tired of attching things so I stopped at twelve. Hope I didn't kill your E-mail Server.

Yeah and don't worry about download time I have a cable modem, so all should be good Looks about like what I was thinking of with boning, what did you do? My idea, might as well tell you, if it doesn't work then oh well, looks like you tried what I had in mind, basically create an underwire structure of the object with lines, place object shapes
(as symbols) over lines, make lines transparent, then when grouping tool comes, group the corresponding lines and symbols, had some success but I need the grouping tool before anything can be created worthy of viewingYeah not sure how the grouping tool will work, but if we can group an object to a point then it will work perfectly, if not then we will have to make do, if it does work that way, the because the way a line work you can move one point and the other end stays static, then it would be a smooth movement, hope you get my explanation, will be on-line again off and on today, and for awhile tonight

I hope to have the grouping capability in about a week. The coding is essentially done. I have to test it. I will also address some other issues at the same time:
    - Double-click on fun file brings up application (done)
    - Save movie size and frame rate to registry (done)
    - Save text effects directory to registry
    - Use fun file name as default for swf file name
    - A bug pointed out by CoolMoves associated with text effects screen
    - Insert movie screen like text effects screen
    - Save shape or frame copy buffer to file
    - A bitmap problem pointed out by AndrewC
    - A gradient problem pointed out by AndrewC
    - A transparency slider
    - Fix problem where selection of shape moves shape (done)

    Yes,

The new version looks great. When it's out I'll be happy.

    Brad,

I did nothing that complicated. All I did was select shape, select points, and the selected the groups of points that I wanted. I then streched them and moved them to where I wanted them.

To make the head move I highlighted the points in the head and then used the tranform tools.

Post Background Color changes in 1.55?

    Hello,

    Sorry I didn't post a "new" post, but as you all can attest, I couldn't...so I didn't.

Has anybody had the following problem with 1.55?

I export the project to .swf and .html, and when I play the .html file in my browser, it changes the background color of my animation and the background color of the browser window.

    Thanks,
    M

I never noticed it before becuase I don't usally use the background color feature, but your right. It exports the wrong color.

    It looks like a bug.

    Yup,

    It's a bug.

All of the colors are shifted.

I select Blue and I get red,

I select Yellow and I get blue,

But if I choose red I get red with a black background,

I choose green I get a red web page with a green movie background?

Maybe he shouldn't fix it - this "Undocumented feature" could be loads of fun! You'd always be surprised by your end product!

It sounds like a simple color shift.

I agree that could be fun.

Perhaps we could create a plug-in that would duplicate this effect for those who like surprises.

KoolKit sounds like a good idea, don't mind helping but don't have the time to get heavily involved.

Perhaps best to start another thread? Not easy to find down here.

The forum won't let us post new threads.

So we have been using this old thread and posting replies.

-> A bug. I checked black and white and assumed it was OK. I will fix it.

Perhaps we could start posting messages by paper plane, you've got a better chance of them landing in the right place.
