    i need to know how to make swift 3d items look like cartoons but still be able to be 3d.

    Just use one of the Cartoon Fill gradient settings in the Preview and Export Editor. You can also try using an outline in conjunction with the fill. This will lend a more cartoonish appearance depending on how you do it. Things like comic books usually have distinct outlines while something like South Park doesn't have any outlines at all for the most part.
